Just in time for the Global Recycling Day 2022, HSVA is launching a project to process 50 kg of polylactide waste from HSVA's 3D printing center into new filament.
Besides being a renewable raw material, PLA is also useful for recycling economy.
Recycling economy saves time, energy and resources. It reduces the volume of waste and enables "zero-waste" production in the ideal case.
The aim of this project is to test the extent to which recycled PLA filament is suitable for production in HSVA.
