The H2020 Project – TrAM (Transport: Advanced and Modular) kicked off at Stavanger during a meeting on 12 – 14 September 2018. Organised by coordinator Rogaland County-Stavanger, the 13 project partners discussed details of the planned developments. The 14.7 M€ project will develop, design and build a modular, all electric fast passenger ferry to be operated in a commuter service in the Stavanger area. HSVA participates in the project as hydrodynamic development and consultation partner to assist shipyard and operators during definition and design of this challenging ferry project which combines emission free operation with latest modular production technologies. Based on the first stage developments for the Norwegian application case further evolutions for use in London (Thames Clipper) and Belgium (Waterwegen en Zeekanaal) will be created.
